Air frying gnocchi was a revelation to me!
Experience the crunch and flavor of air-fried gnocchi, infused with aromatic herbs and spices. This healthy version transforms traditional potato dumplings into a crispy snack or side dish, perfect for any occasion. Enjoy them with your favorite marinara or pesto for an irresistible treat that’s both satisfying and nutritious.
Ingredients
1 lb gnocchi (store-bought or homemade)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese (optional)
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Steps
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
In a large bowl, combine the gnocchi with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
Spread the gnocchi in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Ensure they have some space to allow for even cooking.
Air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking halfway through, until gnocchi are golden brown and crispy.
If using, sprinkle parmesan cheese over the gnocchi during the last 2 minutes of cooking.
Remove from the air fryer, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve with your choice of dipping sauce.
